Coking Coal imports in China during 2016 were marginally higher by 0.1% in comparison with the imports in 2015. Coking Coal imports into that country were strong during the year under consideration due to the shrinkage in domestic supply on account of supply constraints.
According to the data released by China Customs, 59.23 MnT of Coking Coal was imported into China in 2016. Australia was the top importing region, followed by Mongolia.
