Odisha: Merchant miners continue to retain iron ore prices. Sources mentioned that Odisha government has temporarily suspended iron ore dispatches of two major merchant miners namely – KJS Ahluwalia and Kaypee Enterprises following which iron ore dispatches were impacted. However market participants shared that decline in sponge prices in past few weeks has prevented Odisha iron ore prices from moving up despite less iron ore availability.
