Prices of Wire Rod in Durgapur has remained stable for past many days. However, as demand picked up a little recently, dispatch position tightened.
A trader in Durgapur said, “We haven't received delivery of our orders booked four days ago due to non availability of material in plants.”
Similarly, delivery from Raipur plants is tight enough as most of them have reduced their production.
Experts believe prices would remain around the same levels as demand picks up going forward.
