Norway Manganese Ore imports have witnessed a decline of 17% Y-o-Y.
Norway, one of the largest importers of Manganese Ore in the world, has imported 1.04 MnT in 2016. In 2015, the said country has imported 1.24 MnT of Manganese Ore.
Norwegian Manganese ore imports at 0.11 MnT in Dec’16 have witnessed a marginal rise of 3.04% M-o-M. In Nov’16 the imports were at 0.10 MnT. In similar lines, the imports also have slipped by 44% against the same month of the previous year, at 0.19 MnT.
Gabon’s Manganese Ore export to Norway at 0.47 MnT in 2016
Gabon remains the largest supplier of Manganese Ore to Norway. In 2016, Norway imported 0.47 MnT Manganese Ore against 0.54 MnT in 2015.
In Dec’16, the country imported 0.05 MnT Manganese Ore which is almost similar to the Nov’16 imports. In Dec’15, the country has imported 0.10 MnT Manganese Ore.
South Africa and Brazil are the second and third largest exporters of Manganese Ore to Norway. However, imports from both the countries have declined by around 15% on Y-o-Y basis. Additionally, no imports have been registered from Ghana, Mexico and Netherlands in 2016.
