Market for Ferro Alloys dwells in uncertainty. Prices remain
unchanged & demand for all grades appears to be weak.
Silicomanganese 60/15 is being offered at Rs 59,000-60,000/MT
in Durgapur, i.e. the same level seen last week. However, prices in Raipur picked up late last week after the hike in power tariff was materialized.
According to a manufacturer in Durgapur, “Volatility in
Rupee and anticipation of a rise in price of Coke has put market players in wait
and watch situation. Prices are unchanged at the moment but downside is limited”.
