Indian wire rod producers based in Raipur and Durgapur has decreased offers by INR 700-1000/MT W-o-W owing to fall in billet offers in line with low demand across finished wire products.
Currently in Durgapur, 5.5 mm wire rod and HB 12G are available at INR 27,500/MT and 29,500/MT respectively. Plants in Raipur are offering the same grade material at INR 28,600/MT and 30,600/MT respectively. These prices are basic.
Offers for 12 GI wire and 12G barbed wires are assessed at INR 35,400/MT and INR 37,500/MT in Raipur. Prices are basic.
