Manufacturers in Raipur and Raigarh said about unchanged offers at Rs
33,400-500/MT and Rs 33,100-200/MT (Basic price, payment day) respectively today.
“Rourkela price show uptrend by Rs 200/MT being
offered at Rs 31,600/MT (Basic price, payment next day). Buying volumes were
decent at Rs 31,400/MT the day before but as Steel Futures is down by 160
points today, buyers are not in a hurry to place booking order and wish the
begining of next week to show some direction to market,” sources reported
SteelMint.
“Goa market witnesses major
correction today by Rs 500/MT. Sales is absolutely down from sometime due to
few enquiries of finished steel products,” remarked a trader.
According to market participants, Billet price is being quoted at
Rs 33,900/MT and Rs 34,500/MT in Mumbai and Jaipur respectively from previous
trade and some Mandis' like Kolkata, Durgapur, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad kept
their offers unchanged today as there has been no major change in demand and
supply.
