Indian Secondary Structure Prices Weaken

Domestic structure market this week witnessed a major downfall of INR 1,500/MT in prices on account of steep decline in billet prices.

Secondary structure manufacturers across major Indian market have reported price corrections this week. Prices of all grades of light structures like angle, beam and channel in Central regions have declined.

On the flip side, prices of all heavy structure in Central India have increased by INR 300/MT. Trade discount heard in Raipur at INR 400-600/MT on the list price.

Intervening, 125×125 mm billet prices have moved down by INR 300-800/MT and hovering at the range of INR 23,700-27,600/MT.

Currently, 200×100 mm beam is being offered in Durgapur at INR 29,750/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 32,500/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 30,000/MT, Mumbai at INR 32,100/MT and in Raipur at INR 27,800/MT.

At the same time, 200×75 mm channel prices are assessed in Durgapur at INR 29,750/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 33,000/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 30,200/MT, Mumbai at INR 31,500/MT and in Raipur at INR 28,300/MT.

Currently, 40×40 mm angle prices is being offered in Durgapur at INR 30,250/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 29,500/MT, Mumbai at INR 30,800/MT, Raipur at INR 27,200/MT and in Hyderabad at INR 30,000/MT.
