India’s largest and state-owned trading house, MMTC has issued an export tender of 30,000 MT basic grade Pig iron and the tender is scheduled on 25th Jan’17. The material is produced by Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL), Duburi, Odisha, India.
Due to high demand from global buyers, the company is looking forward to export more quantities of Pig iron.
Synopsis of the tender
Quantity: Minimum- 15,000 MT; maximum-30,000 MT
Loading port: Paradip Port, India
Shipment period: During 6th Feb – 16 Feb’17
Delivery basis: FOBST Paradip Port
Destination: Any country other than banned countries
The due date for bid submission is 25 Jan’17 at 14:30 hrs. Technical bid opening and price bid opening are scheduled on the same day at 14.45 hrs and 16.30 hrs IST respectively.
Last export tender for 30,000 MT Pig iron concluded at USD 291/5/MT, FOB India
On 6th Dec’16, MMTC had floated its last export tender for 30,000 MT Pig iron which got expired on 15 Dec’16.
The company had managed to attract 2 participants and bids received were around USD 291.5/MT, FOB India and the cargo is expected to be shipped to Thailand according to market sources.
