India: Mangalam Cement commissions 15.17 MW captive solar project in Rajasthan

Mangalam Cement commenced solar power procurement from a 15.17 MW (AC)/22 MW (DC) captive solar plant in Barmer, Rajasthan, effective 6 August 2026, under the Captive Open Access model. Following the operationalisation of Short-Term Open Access (STOA), the project is expected to reduce power costs, increase the company’s renewable energy share, strengthen energy security, and enhance overall operational efficiency and long-term sustainability.
