Domestic Coal at the SECL e-auction held on 22nd, 23rd & 24th May fetched more or less the same bids that was seen in April.
Prices including taxes for Gevra mines having the GCV of 4000-4300 remained at Rs 2,400/MT i.e. almost same as the previous e-auction held on 27th of April. The quantity that was offered for Gevra mines was 1,50,000 MT at a reserve price of Rs 1,044 by MJS Ltd.
Prices (including taxes) for other mines which were e-auctioned were-
Rs 2,400/MT for G 11 grade of Laxmax OC stock, Rs 2900/MT for E grade of Dipka Expn, and Rs 2400 for Chhal F grade.
The total quantity that was offered by MJS Ltd. & MSTC Ltd. in the 3-day e-auction was 9,00,840 MT.
According to market players, “Bids were more or less unchanged as demand was not so high”.
