India: Billion Electric, JK Cement partner to deploy 150 electric trucks in FY’27

Billion Electric Mobility and JK Cement have partnered to deploy over 150 heavy-duty electric trucks during FY’27 to decarbonise cement transportation. The rollout has begun with 20 electric trucks from JK Cement’s Muddapur plant in Karnataka. Charging infrastructure across key freight corridors will support long-haul operations, enabling zero-emission cement logistics across Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Goa.
