BigMint’s daily trade sheet – 22 July’26

India’s iron ore concentrate market remained firm this week, supported by recent trade and, higher pellet prices. According to BigMint’s latest bi-weekly assessment, Fe 62% iron ore concentrate was assessed at INR 4,500/t ($47/t) ex-works.

According to BigMint’s assessment, Fe 69% mill scale prices in Kandla declined by INR 100/t to INR 7,750/t DAP. Mill scale prices in Raipur edged down by INR 50/t this week and around 1,600 t deals were reported at existing levels.

BigMint’s billet index declined by INR 100/t d-o-d to INR 37,800/t exw-Raipur. The conversion spread between pellet-based direct reduced iron (PDRI) and billets for standalone induction furnaces in the Raipur cluster remained unchanged at INR 13,800/t.
