HR Coil prices might increase in the range of Rs 500-1,000/MT next month, that was unchanged for May. 2.5mm HR Coil (Ex RSP) is being quoted at Rs 36,500/MT (Basic price). Whereas, Delhi is at
Rs 41,500/MT (Vat extra). BSL material is being traded at Rs 42,500/MT in Delhi.
Imported Coil prices in
Mumbai increased by Rs 500-700/MT this week due to high dollar realization.
HR coil of size 2.5mm is trading at Rs 43,500+ (Ex Mumbai).
CR Coil price are kept
unchanged in all major mandis'. CR coil in Ludhiana trades at Rs 47,000-48,000/MT (+Vat) for 0.9mm and 2.5mm. Whereas, CR coil in Rourkela trades at Rs 48,000/MT (+VAT).
“Demand in export is improving. We expect price to increase by Rs 1,000/MT in June”, said a CR manufacturer in
Odisha.
