Re-bar market remains dull with lacklustre buying

Re-bar market continued to show customary ups and downs on
Tuesday with buying being lacklustre.

12 mm in Coimbatore traded at Rs 39,900/MT i.e. it maintained
its previous level. According to traders, the southwest monsoon is likely to
hit by June 1^st week. So, getting orders during the monsoon period
may not be easy and if there is any buying then it will be in very limited
quantity.

Re-bar in Indore also traded at the same level of Rs 41,800/MT for 12mm.
According to traders, “Demand looks ok at present. Prices may improve next week
if the current price level sustains”.
