France, one of the largest Pig iron importer has imported 10,741 MT Pig iron in Oct’16 according to trade statistics released by France Customs .
France Pig iron imports have registered a downfall of 16% M-o-M in Oct’16 against 13,132 MT in Sept’16. On similar lines, imports decreased by 28% Y-o-Y against 15,001 MT in Oct’15.
In the first 10 months of 2016, the country’s imports were registered at 121,597 MT, slightly down by 1% as compared to 122,682 MT in the same time period prior this year.
Country’s imports majority of Pig iron from Belgium, Germany, Russia etc. In Oct’16, imports from Belgium was registered at 5,834 MT, from Germany it was 2,415 MT and from Russia imports remained at 1,000 MT.
