India: KCP strengthens cost competitiveness with 15.8 MW waste heat recovery project

KCP Limited has commissioned a 15.8 MW waste heat recovery system at its Muktyala cement plant. This is expected to reduce power costs and improve operating margins by increasing captive green power generation. The investment strengthens the company’s cost competitiveness at a time when weak cement demand and pricing continue to pressure profitability, while supporting its long-term decarbonisation and energy-efficiency strategy.
