Silico Manganese prices in India remain stable, amid limited buying interest for Silico Manganese in India which is balanced by high raw material cost.
The Silico Manganese market has stabalized in December, after few rounds of strengthening of prices in India, on healthy interest from end-users and traders in India and abroad. Silico Manganese 60-14 prices remain unchanged from last week and is being traded at around INR 63,000 /MT (Ex-Raipur) and at INR 62,000 /MT (Ex-Durgapur). Semis market in India has also been improving rapidly, as prices for both billet and sponge rose by INR 1,000-1,400/MT across India in the week gone by.
In the export market, Indian producers have maintained offer levels on account of increased cost of production. Silico Manganese 60-14 is being offered at USD 945 /MT FOB East-coast India, and Silico Manganese 65-16 is being offered at USD 1140 /MT FOB East-coast India. Deals were heard to be concluded from India for the Far East and South-East Asian countries.
