India: GR Krishna Ferro Alloys plans greenfield integrated steel project in Maharashtra

GR Krishna Ferro Alloys has received environmental clearance to establish a greenfield integrated steel project in Chandrapur, Maharashtra. The project comprises a 0.42 mnt/year sponge iron plant, a 0.264 mnt/year steel melting shop, a 0.6 mnt/year rolling mill, four 6 MVA submerged arc furnaces for producing ferro alloys or pig iron, and a 2.5 mnt/year coal washery.
