Sagar Cements has commissioned the remaining 1.55 MW capacity of its Waste Heat Recovery Power System (WHRS) at its Gudipadu cement plant in Andhra Pradesh, making the entire 4.35 MW system operational. The project is expected to improve energy efficiency, optimise power costs and support the company’s sustainability initiatives by increasing the utilisation of waste heat in cement manufacturing operations.
