- Total 8 iron ore and manganese blocks up for auctions

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has invited bids for multiple iron ore and manganese ore blocks under fresh mineral block auction rounds through the Directorate of Mines and Geology.
The latest auction pipeline includes one manganese ore block under the first attempt category and several iron ore and manganese ore blocks under the second attempt category.
Under the first attempt, the Nanda block in Vizianagaram district has been put up for auction for manganese ore.
Meanwhile, the second attempt auction includes Krishnapuram (Chittoor), Pagadalapalle (YSR Kadapa), LETAPALE (YSR Kadapa), Lakkannavdlapalle (Chittoor and YSR Kadapa), Nagayapalle (YSR Kadapa) and Vaddepalle (YSR Kadapa) iron ore blocks. In addition, the Vedullavalasa block in Vizianagaram district has been offered for manganese ore.

Most of the blocks have been offered under the composite licence (CL) route through electronic auction in accordance with the Mineral (Auction) Rules, 2015 and subsequent amendments.
As per the tender details, the concession area of these blocks ranges between around 107 ha and 1,500 ha. Tender fees for each block have been fixed at INR 300,000, excluding applicable GST.
Moreover, the Andhra Pradesh government has also scheduled a pre-bid conference for 19 June 2026 through both online and offline modes for interested bidders.
