SAIL-RSP auctioned 3,900 t of steel-grade pig iron on 15 Jun’26, with the entire quantity booked at an average price of INR 36,800/t exw. Bids declined by INR 300/t from the previous auction held on 10 Jun’26, where only 1,100 t of the 5,000 t offered were booked at INR 37,100/t exw. The rise in booked volumes suggests that buyers engaged in restocking amid a drop in prices.
