Indian pellet manufacturers hold offers to same level despite sponge prices in India are not very encouraging at the moment.
1. Pellet manufacturers cut offers by Rs 100-200/t last week on poor demand and falling steel prices in India.
2. Pellets at Barbil being offered at Rs 9200-9300/t (Loaded to Wagons), where as Tatanagar being offered at Rs 9200/t (Ex-Works).
3. Pellet prices in Raipur remained stable at Rs 10,400 (Ex-Works).
4. BMM Ispat is shut due to maintenance in Bellary.62% Fe pellets are being offered at Rs 8400/t (Ex-Works).Expected to go up to Rs 8,800/t.
5. Sponge manufacturers in South raise offers on shortage of pellets. 78 FeM heard to be sold at Rs 21,500/t (Ex-Works) up by Rs 600/t.
