Local demand of HRC coil looks firm in the beginning of June. Demand from automobile sector in Ludhiana and demand from consumer durable in Gujarat is holding the prices firm of Flat products in the region. Prices from primary player are unchanged however quantity discount is offered in range of Rs.500-1500/MT to book the material.
HRC in Delhi is sold at Rs 43700+ Vat with demand picking up in the local market. Whereas demand in Mumbai was reported low and it was offered at Rs.43000+Vat.
Jindal steel sold the HRC of 3MM for June shipment to Taiwan at $680-690/MT FOB Taiwan, reported market participants.
