NMDC has informed via BSE filing that in terms of order dated 07 Dec’16 of Ministry of Steel, Government of India, the additional charge of the post of Chairman and Managing Director, NMDC Limited is assigned to Shri R Sridharan, Special Secretary, Ministry of Mines, till a regular incumbent is appointed or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Prior to this, Smt. Bharathi.S.Sihag has been serving as NMDC’s CMD since Jan’16 after company’s previous CMD Mr. Narendra Kothari retired on 31 Dec’15.
Three months back in Sept’16, Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) in its issued notification, recommended name of Mr. Narendra Kumar Nanda for the post of Chairman & Managing Director of NMDC.
