India: NALCO raises aluminium ingot prices by INR 3,800/t ($40/t)

• NALCO, BALCO raise aluminium prices despite weaker LME trend
• LME aluminium slips over 2%, but Indian producer sentiment stays firm

NALCO increased its primary aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 3,800/t ($40/t) on 5 Jun’26. Following the revision, prices rose to INR 416,300/t ($4,355/t), up from INR 412,500/t ($4,315/t) on 1 Jun’26. The prices are quoted on an ex-works basis and exclude GST.

BALCO kept its aluminium ingot/P1020/EC high purity (above 99.7%) prices unchanged at INR 426,000/t ($4452/t) on 8 Jun’26, stable from 6 Jun’26. Meanwhile, Hindalco reduced its aluminium ingot/P1020/EC grade 99.7% (min) prices by INR 1,000/t ($10/t) to INR 427,000/t ($4462/t)on 6 Jun’26, down from INR 428,000/t ($44726/t) on 5 Jun’26.

As of 15:50 IST, benchmark three-month aluminium futures on the LME stood at $3,592/t, down 2.02% d-o-d.
