“An
annoucement for indefinite power cut was made in Kothur Industrial Area of
Hyderabad w.e.f the 3rd of June (Sunday). This was on account of approaching
elections in Hyderabad on the 12th of this month. Power is being made available
to villages and not to industrial areas”, a Hyderabad based manufacturer reported SteelMint.
“But
soon after the elections get over, power will be restored in the industrial
area which was again made available on the 5th and 6th, reasons are not clear.
We expect power cut issues to continue, may be till the 12th or 15th of this
month. Due to this cut, prices in Hyderabad are anticipated to stand at current
levels till the power issue is resolved. Demand in the state remains low”, he added.
