Adani Group plans to invest over USD 26 million (INR 217 crore) in a 5 mnt/year greenfield cement plant at Kharagpur, West Bengal, with commissioning targeted by 2028. The project revives a previously stalled ACC proposal and underscores the group’s continued expansion in eastern India. The new facility will complement existing capacity additions at Farakka and Sankrail, strengthening the company’s regional footprint.
