Miner’s iron ore production recorded at 20.09 MnT iron ore in FY17 (till Nov’16), up by 15% Y-o-Y.
India’s largest iron ore producer – NMDC has registered an increase of 15% in its monthly iron ore production in Nov’16. Miner’s monthly iron ore production figure has hit ten months high. Back in Jan’16, the miner produced 3.36 MnT iron ore.
Miner’s iron ore production increased from 2.87 MnT in Oct’16 to 3.29 MnT in Nov’16. Out of 3.29 MnT iron ore produced last month, 2.28 MnT was from its Chhattisgarh mines and remaining 1.01 MnT was produced from its mines in Karnataka.
Compared to the same month last fiscal (i.e.) Nov’15, NMDC’s iron ore production is higher by 37% in Nov’16.
So far in this fiscal (till Nov’16) the miner has produced 20.09 MnT iron ore. Out of which 12.41 MnT was produced from its Bailadila mines in Chhattisgarh and 7.68 MnT was produced from its Karnataka mines.
Miner’s iron ore production in the same period (till Nov’15) last fiscal was recorded at 17.5 MnT. NMDC’s iron ore production from its Chhattisgarh mines has witnessed considerable increase this fiscal.
NMDC’s iron ore sales up by 15% in Nov’16
Monthly iron ore sales of NMDC was recorded at 3.62 MnT last month. Out of this, sales from Chhattisgarh and Karnataka were recorded at 2.16 MnT and 1.47 MnT respectively. On monthly premises, NMDC’s iron ore sales volumes in Nov’16 are up by 15% against 3.14 MnT in Oct’16.
So far in this fiscal (i.e. till Nov’16) NMDC’s iron ore sales stood at 22.59 MnT (up by 27% in the same period last fiscal).
