Petcoke imports into India during Nov’16 were at around 1.08 MnT, which was lower by approximately 6.08% than the imports in Oct’16.

Conforming to the normal trend, imports from USA accounted for the highest share in the total import volume during the month; followed by Saudi Arabia.
During the month, around 826 ‘000MT of Petcoke was imported into India from USA; and 262 ‘000MT from Saudi Arabia.

Among the various ports in India, the Kandla port had handled the largest volume of imports during the month; followed by the Krishnapatnam, Vizag and Mormugao ports.
