India: Dalmia Bharat acquires Jaiprakash cement, raises capacity to nearly 55 mnt/year

Dalmia Bharat, through its subsidiary Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd, acquired 5.2 mnt/year cement and 3.3 mnt clinker assets from Jaiprakash Associates Limited for INR 2,850 crore. The acquisition strengthens the company’s presence in central India and increases its total cement capacity to 54.7 mnt/year, supporting regional expansion, clinker integration, and long-term growth strategy.
