BigMint’s daily trade sheet – 11 May’26

BigMint’s billet index remained stable d-o-d at INR 40,550/t exw. The conversion spread from pellet-based sponge iron (PDRI) to billets for standalone induction furnaces in the Raipur cluster was recorded at around INR 15,150/t.

India’s sponge iron prices showed mixed trend today across the regions. BigMint recorded trade volumes for around 12,700 t.

BigMint’s domestic end-cutting scrap index, tracking the Mandi Gobindgarh market, eased by INR 200/tonne (t) d-o-d to INR 38,600/t DAP.
