Billet market in most of the places has not been
encouraging from sometime.
Raipur and Rourkela: Buyers are not
ready to place any bookings for the time being but prefer to wait and watch.
Goa, Ahmedabad, Kandla and Bhavnagar: Weak demand of Billet is as a result of poor sales of finished
products.
Hyderabad: On account of rise in sales of Ingot
and Re-bar, Billet price saw an upward trend. We expect offers to stabilize
further if demand does not pick up at current levels as no trades have taken
place at increased offers.
Jalna: Billet offers reduced as scrap
prices in International market is low.
According to market players, demand in Billet
will show signs of improvement if trading volumes in finished products increase.
