Norther Railway zone of Indian Railway has issued tender to purchase 175,333 MT Pig Iron for foundry purpose.
Norther Railway for & on behalf of The President of India has invited a tender for purchase of approximately 175,333 MT of Pig Iron (IS: 13502:1992) for foundry purpose in two lots. This requirement if for different places in northern region. The first and second lot is of 163,000 MT and 12,333 MT for Kalka and Ghaziabad consignee respectively.
As per the delivery schedule, material shall be delivered between 1 Apr’17 to 30 June’17 and the offer given by the bidder will be valid for the period of 90 days.
The bulk purchase will done from the firms who are successful past suppliers of same/allied items of Northern Railway or any other Railway units only. Firm having registration for same/allied items with Northern Railway/NSIC/DGS&D will also be considered for bulk orders.
