Indian HR plate prices (20-40 mm, Gr E250 Br.) inched down by INR 300/t ($3/t) w-o-w to INR 61,600/t ($646/t) on 22 Apr’26, against INR 61,900/t ($649/t) last week. The slight decline in prices could be attributed to a slowdown in trade. Prices are assessed ex-Mumbai at the distributor-to-dealer level, exclusive of 18% GST.
