Europe: Outokumpu announces stainless steel flats surcharges for May’26

Outokumpu has released alloy surcharges for flat stainless steel products for May’26, tracking higher raw material costs across major grades.

• 304 (EN 1.4301) series: EUR 2,247/t ($2,630/t), up EUR 28/t ($32/t) m-o-m.
• 316L (EN 1.4404): EUR 3,818/t ($4,469/t), down EUR 7/t ($8/t) m-o-m.
• 430 (EN 1.4016): EUR 1,094/t ($1,280/t), up EUR 35/t ($45/t) m-o-m.

The company’s melt production capacity is 2.55 mnt/year and strip capacity is 1.6 mnt.
