Nepal: Rebar prices remain stable amid rising fuel costs

Nepal’s rebar prices stayed stable w-o-w at NPR 91,000-95,000/t amid rising fuel costs, which increased logistics and production expenses. However, demand remained subdued for the same reason. Market sentiment now hinges on the upcoming national budget, which may boost infrastructure spending and steel demand. Meanwhile, IF-EAF wire rod prices held steady near $570/t CNF Raxaul despite weak downstream demand.
