India’s sponge iron export offers exhibited a mixed trend this week, tracking the domestic downtrend and margin pressure. Export offers to Nepal declined by $5/t to $345/t CPT Raxaul, while offers to Bangladesh edged up by $5/t to $366/t CPT Benapole, as per BigMint’s weekly assessment. Buying activity remained limited, with around 3,300 tonnes of sponge iron deals concluded for both destinations.
