According to the trade data released by US Customs; The United States of America exported 1.08 MnT ferrous scrap in Sep’16, registered a downfall of 36% M-o-M against 1.69 MnT ferrous scrap exported in Aug’16. On similar lines export were down by 5% Y-o-Y, the nation exported 1.14 MnT in Sep’15.
The nation exported 9.12 MnT ferrous scrap from Jan-Sep’16, registered a downfall of 3% Y-o-Y against 9.38 MnT exported in Jan-Sep’15. Total export during 2015 was registered to be around 12.25 MnT.
• USA exported 0.27 MnT ferrous scrap to Turkey in Sep’16, registered a downfall of 18% M-o-M and downfall of 43% Y-o-Y, the nation exported 0.33 MnT in Aug’16 and 0.47 MnT in Sep’15.
• USA exported 0.19 MnT ferrous scrap to Mexico in Sep’16, registered a downfall of 71% M-o-M and growth of 27% Y-o-Y, the nation exported 0.65 MnT in Aug’16 and 0.15 MnT in Sep’15.
• USA exported 0.12 MnT ferrous scrap to South Korea in Sep’16, registered a growth of 100% M-o-M and growth of 33% Y-o-Y, the nation exported 0.06 MnT in Aug’16 and 0.09 MnT in Sep’15.
• USA exported 0.12 MnT ferrous scrap to Taiwan in Sep’16, registered a downfall of 14% M-o-M and growth of 100% Y-o-Y, the nation exported 0.14 MnT in Aug’16 and 0.06 MnT in Sep’15.
