SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant has rescheduled its crude coal tar auction for 17 Apr’26, involving 7,000 t. The previous auction conducted on 11 April for 7,000 t witnessed no participation, as the base price of INR 58,000/t was perceived to be on the higher side, leading to subdued buyer interest and no bids received.
