NMDC’s Nagarnar Steel Plant auctioned 7000 t of steel-grade pig iron on 9 Apr’26, with the entire quantity booked at an average price of INR 38,200/t. Bids increased by INR 1,250/t from the 30 Mar’26 auction, when 3000 t entire quantity was sold at INR 36,950/t. The outcome reflects firm demand conditions and continued upward price momentum.
