Power cuts across India hit MS Ingot production

Production of MS Ingot across India has been deeply affected by power cuts imposed by different state governments to meet the local demand. Ingot prices which were earlier hit by poor demand is now stable due to fall in production level.  Following is the power cut scenario at various states :-

1. Uttar Pradesh today
   announced 24 hrs power cut to Furnace and Rolling mill to meet the domestic
   demand
2. Andhra Pradesh is already witnessing 3 days power cut in a week
3. West Bengal has also
   imposed power cut for 8 hrs daily 
   last week
4. Punjab Government has imposed 2 days power cut in a week that is expected to further rise to 3 days in a week as domestic demand increases.
5. Power cut in Chhattisgarh & Orissa is not definite but uneven power cut is seen daily for 2-5 hrs, as learned by SteelMint
