Shyam Metalics reported strong stainless steel sales performance in March 2026, with volumes rising to 10,519 t, up 59% y-o-y from 6,619 t and 27% m-o-m from 8,286 t. Average realisations stood at INR 152,633/t, increasing 19.01% y-o-y, though marginally lower by 0.59% m-o-m, indicating stable pricing amid higher dispatches.
Quarterly performance improves on higher volumes
In Q4 FY26, volumes increased to 27,287 t, up 22.46% q-o-q from 22,282 t in Q3. Realisations rose 4.89% q-o-q to INR 149,034/t, supported by improved product mix and firm market conditions.
FY26 sees steady growth in volumes and pricing
On a full-year basis, volumes increased 11.49% to 94,102 t compared with 84,404 t in FY25. Average realisations also improved by 6.73% to INR 140,443/t, reflecting better pricing environment alongside demand recovery.
Outlook
The performance indicates strengthening demand and improved market sentiment, although raw material volatility and cost pressures will remain key monitorables.
