Secondary manufacturer structure prices this week increases by INR 1,000/MT due to currency demonetization.
Manufacturer increase offers as without bill trade halts across India. “As per estimates 10-15℅ trade volume in finish steel was without bill” stated a trader located in central India.”
Manufacturer are still calculating loss in trade as physical cash transaction halts” stated another trader in Durgapur.
However, east market remained stable since 3 weeks; structure makers of Durgapur are offering 40×40 mm angle at INR 26,750/MT.
In a week, 125×125 mm billet prices have moved up by INR 900/MT and hovering at the range of INR 21,300-24,900/MT.
Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CECB) has served notice to steel industry to defying pollution control norms and have cut the electricity of Industry that have
effected steel prices.
Currently, 100×100 mm angle prices are evaluated at INR 27,250/MT in Durgapur, INR 26,900/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 26,000/MT in Raipur and at INR 27,000/MT in Hyderabad.
Meantime, 200×75 mm channel are evaluated at INR 26,250/MT in Durgapur, at INR 30,100/MT in Ghaziabad, at INR 27,100/MT in Ahmedabad, at INR 29,100/MT in Mumbai and at INR 26,000/MT in Raipur.
Heavy 200×100 mm beam offers are assessed at INR 26,250/MT in Durgapur, at INR 29,600/MT in Ghaziabad, at INR 26,900/MT in Ahmedabad, at INR 29,700/MT in Mumbai and at INR 25,500/MT in Raipur.
