Taiwan’s Yieh United Steel Corp (Yusco) has increased Apr’26 stainless steel prices, marking the fifth consecutive hike since Dec. Surcharges for 304 and 316L grades rose by TWD 4,000/t ($124/t), while 430 increased by TWD 1,500/t ($46/t), taking cumulative gains in 304 to TWD 19,500/t ($608/t). The hike is driven by rising energy costs, tighter raw material supply, and currency fluctuations, keeping cost pressures elevated.
