Maruti Suzuki approved an investment of $1.09 bn (INR 10,189 cr) to set up a greenfield passenger vehicle plant at Khoraj Industrial Estate, Gujarat, with an initial capacity of 250,000 units per year. The facility, expected operational by 2029, will be funded through internal accruals and support domestic and export demand.
