BigMint’s bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index for Raipur, remained stable at INR 10,800/t DAP. Trade volume were recorded Around 36,000 t.
BigMint’s billet index declined by INR 400/t d-o-d to INR 40,850/t exw-Raipur. The conversion spread from pellet-based sponge iron (PDRI) to billets for standalone induction furnaces in Raipur was assessed at around INR 15,100/t.
Indian sponge iron prices witnessed a downward trend, declining by INR 100-300/t across regions, while trade volumes recorded around 7,400 t.
