POSCO Maharashtra Increases its CRC Export Offers by USD 30-40/MT

In  a  recent  update  in  India’s  cold  rolled  export  market, CRC  major in India, POSCO Maharashtra  has  increased  its  CRC  export  prices  by  USD 30-40/MT.

Current  CRC  offers  from  India  are  being  assessed  at  USD 530/MT, FoB  India  basis.Flat product  prices  are  increasing  globally  owing  to  rise  in  raw  material  (coking coal prices).Although  some  deals  have  been  heard  from South East Asian markets.

India’s  CRC  export  sales  from  Jan-Oct’16  stands  at  0.72MnT, up  by  53%  against  0.47 MnT in corresponding  period  of  previous  year.

Chinese   CRC   export  offers  have  surged  by  USD 30-35/MT  due  to  bullish  sentiments prevailing  in  the  domestic  market.Currently  CRC  export  offers  from  China  are  heard  in the range  of  USD  515-520/MT.However ,trading  remains  thin  as  the  overseas  buyers consider  prices  are  too  high  for  them.

CIS-origin  export   offers   of  CRC  are   in   the  range  of  USD 490-495/MT,  FoB Black sea.Export  offer  rises  on  improved  demand  in  Russian  market  and  also  due  to  high cost  of  production.

Japan/Korea  has  been  offering  CRC  at  USD 520-530/MT, FoB basis.

UAE ‘s CRC  import  offers  are  being  assessed  at  USD 560/MT, CFR  basis  from  China.
