USA was the top destination for export of bar and rod from India during Oct’16.
As per the custom data available with SteelMint, export of bar and rod from India to various countries stood at about 24,400 MT during Oct’16, which fell by 24% as compared to Sep’16.
India majorly exported material to countries like USA (10,900 MT), followed by Myanmar (4,600 MT). Goa turned out to be the major Indian port for exports of bar and rod material to about 15,500 MT followed by Vishakapatnam (1,600 MT) and JNPT (1,500 MT) in Oct’16.
