Following sharp recovery in billet market, secondary structure manufacturer have increased prices sharply across major market by INR 200-1,400/MT W-o-W for all grade and size.
Major price hike is seen in Raipur by INR 1,400/MT followed by Mumbai (+1,100). However, east (Durgapur) and west (Ahmedabad) market remained stable in the duration.
In the meantime, raw material i.e billet prices have moved up by INR 200-1,500/MT and hovering at the range of INR 21,200-25,000/MT.
Current 100×100 mm angle price movements across major market are- Durgapur at INR 27,250/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 26,000/MT, Raipur at INR 26,000/MT and Hyderabad at INR 26,700/MT while 40×40 mm angle is being offered at INR 27,500/MT in Mumbai.
Heavy structure, 200×75 mm channel is available in Durgapur at INR 26,250/MT, in Mumbai at INR 28,200/MT, in Ahmedabad at INR 26,200/MT, in Ghaziabad at INR 29,600/MT and Raipur at INR 26,000/MT.
However, 200×100 mm beam offers are assessed at 26,250 in Durgapur, INR 29,100/MT in Ghaziabad, INR 26,000/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 28,800/MT in Mumbai and INR 25,500/MT in Raipur.
